Our Hank Arnold (Of Photo Challenge Fame) organised a visit to Bob Petersen Engineering near Bratton Clovelly in Devon.

As it worked out that date coincided with our Section Regular meet at The Clovelly Inn
14 riders met at the pub for lunch, and then went on towards Bob Petersen’s around 14:30 led by Hank.
The last part of the journey was a single track rough road!
These cars are made to the specifications of the buyer with around an eighteen month
build time, each buyer wanting to have a unique vehicle.
The vehicles are assembled using parts from genuine Bentley donor cars (Chassis etc.)
The bodies are hand built, hand formed, aluminium, the skills involved are impressive!
Bob’s operation has several different buildings / workshops, depending on what part of
the car is being worked on Chassis, Body Shell, Leather work, Donor parts
Bob himself is entertaining and a mine of information, we could listen to him all night.
